Fascinating discussion take place at the bar. It's a great place to come alone, or with friends. There are papers to read, people to talk to, excellent coffee, home-cooked food mostly sourced locally -  and books....

.....over 5,000 books in three rooms upstairs, on the stairs, in the bar and dining room. Shrewdly selected with a wide range of subjects, we take care to maintain their quality and the appearance of our shelves.
